About Us

Sarvagya Shiva Baba School (Historical Background)

Shiva Baba School was founded in 2010 by Mr. Om Shankar Shrestha & Mr. Shyam Shrestha. We struggled to establish the school, which offers the best of facilities for quality education with student-centered learning and modern approaches to education.

Both believe that education is the most potent factor in reforming and remodeling society through uniform ideology and curriculum. Both Believe in spiritual Enlightenment. Both of them Led and helped poor, helpless, orphan, and street children to provide education at a discounted school fee.

Both the founders of the school believe in unity. As such, after a process of one year, the Shiva Baba School is united with the Supreme School. As a result, “Supreme Shiva Baba School” now “Sarvagya Shiva Baba School” has been established and running unitedly since 2020 July. It has become possible to bring the school to this stage with the help of our Qualified, dedicated, and experienced teachers, Advisors & staff.

The vision is to run the school in a sustainable way by establishing a holistic learning center to produce responsible citizens who can represent themselves nationally and globally.

Scholarships
Sarvagya Shiva Baba School

The school has launched various scholarship programs for the upliftment of the poor but meritorious students. Identifying talent and giving them a chance to shine in life has become one of the principles of our School.

The school has been providing scholarships to underprivileged children for many years. A lot of students have benefited from this program. However, this facility is not limited to poor students. Outstanding students from the higher secondary section have also benefited from this program.
Scholarships and grants are provided to deserving students every year and many students reap the benefit of it as per their merit.
We also provide scholarships to poor, orphan, and underprivileged children on the needs of their family and family background.

Admission Procedure

Admission is considered on a prescribed Registration form The Official Application Form must be completed and registered by paying the registration fee. However, registration does not guarantee admission to school. Registration is followed by an Entrance Examination and an interview.

Note: In lower classes, admissions are sometimes taken in the middle of a session. This depends on the number of seats available.

Examination

A weekly test is held at the end of every week. A test is conducted on any major subject. The syllabus for the test is only one or two chapters. This test is to ascertain whether a student can understand the lessons taught in class.

Mid-term exams are held in the middle of each term. Mid-term exams cover the lessons taught in 40 working days.

Terminal examinations are held at the end of each term. There are three rounds of terminal exams. Each exam carries 100 marks. These exams cover the lessons taught.

A student is promoted to the immediate higher classes or is allowed to take the Board exams only if his/her performance is satisfactory in all the exams conducted in an academic session. The final result is prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the mid-term tests, terminal exams, and subsidiary and weekly tests.

General Rule for Students/Parents

  • Shoelaces, polish (white & black), Nails done, Hair Combed. Students are not allowed to bring ornaments and mobile phones in school.
  • Classes (1-10) are provided exercise books only. Other stationery items have to be provided by the parents at regular intervals.
  • On Sports Day, students are required to wear white canvas shoes and white socks.
  • Parents are requested to send the complete set of uniforms and other items of clothing as mentioned in the Prospectus.
  • Children are not allowed to wear clothes that are short, faded, worn out, or shabby. Uniforms should be in very good condition.
  • Parents who have any complaints, suggestions, or recommendations to make regarding the school, their children’s performance in studies or anything else, are free to meet the concerned teachers or the Principal and discuss these issues.
  • Bringing valuables to the school is NOT allowed. Parents are advised NOT to allow children to wear valuable ornaments in school. The school will not be responsible for any loss, if it is confiscated or lost.
  • In a clean and healthy body lives a healthy mind. Personal cleanliness is very important, The prescribed code of uniform should be worn and it should be clean and well-ironed. The boy’s hair should be kept short. The girl’s long hair should be neatly plaited.
